About Counselor's Corner

Students, families, and staff of Rio Real School, welcome to the Counselor’s Corner!

In this space, you will find information about resources in the community as well as about upcoming counseling events such as assemblies and guest speakers.

This is my 7th year as a school counselor at Rio Real School, and I feel privileged to serve our students and their families. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with the kind, caring, and respectful students of this school.

My ultimate goal as a school counselor is to deliver comprehensive school counseling programs that promote student achievement. The programs are developed to meet the needs of all the students.

I strive to help children develop problem-solving skills, self-awareness, healthy self-esteem, respect for others, and appreciation of differences and diversity within our school and community.

I promote a safe learning environment in the school. I facilitate groups, provide individual counseling, refer students and their families to community resources, and provide families with information and tools to help their students achieve success in academics and in life.
